We have a passion for helping writers and aspiring authors strengthen their work to prepare for whatever their next step is - whether it's querying to agents or self-publishing. We understand that no two writing projects are the same, and that you can't take a 'one-size-fits-all' approach when sitting down to edit a new project. To meet your goal as a writer for your project, we offer a variety of services!

All of our editing packages include a formal meeting with our editors to get to know you and your work prior to any edits to assure your goals are being met!

CASE (Sensitivity)

Sensitivity editing is recommended prior to developmental editing beginning. Sensitivity edits focuses on vetting the manuscript for issues relating to the (mis)representation, bias, stereotypes, and other factors that may be deemed harmful or offensive to a person or group of people.

Upon completion, your edited work will be returned along with a summarized page of editorial notes!

Developmental

Developmental editing is generally the first major editing phase that a manuscript will go through. It focuses on the "big picture" - the editor will focus on plot and character development and structure.

Upon completion, your edited work will be returned along with a summarized page of editorial notes!

The Developmental Editing Package has a minimum requirement of 50 pages.

Line

Line editing generally takes place once a writer has completed developmental edits. This round of editing focuses on the clarity of the writing - the editor will go line-by-line through the manuscript.

Upon completion, your edited work will be returned with suggestions for word choice, syntax, and tone to enhance your writing style.

Galley

Galley editing generally is the last stage of editing before a manuscript is published.

This round is a simple proof-read to catch any typos or minor errors that might not have gotten attention during the previous rounds.

Upon completion, your edited work will be returned with any final suggestions.

Full Editing Package

Our Full Editing Package consists one round of each editing package: Sensitivity, Developmental, Line, and Galley. You will have the option of a formal meeting with your editor prior to each round.

Interior Design Package

We will work with you one-on-one to reach your desired book-layout. Once a design is approved by you, you will be provided a ZIP file containing the generated files for both e-book and print editions of your work. This package has a minimum requirement of 50 pages.
