Erica has been editing since 2015, and loves reading the potential in stories, helping them to be realized in the author's vision. Though her editing preference lies with speculative fiction, Erica is open discussing any genre!
Kelsey Kicklighter is a Media Specialist, an editor, and an all-around lover of the written word. Her debut novel, Of Beast and Burden was originally published in 2022. The novel reached the Amazon Bestseller List for its categories on several occasions. She has a B. A. in English Literature, Emphasis Creative Writing from the University of Georgia, and a M. Ed. in Instructional Technology from Georgia Southern. While she’s never met a genre she doesn’t like, she has a special place in her heart reserved for all things 398.2: fairytales and folklore.
As a member of the Editorial Freelance Association, Ames has held many roles with a handful of small presses dating back to 2014 and is certified in Creative Writing and Editing, as well as Technical Writing.
In addition to founding Sage & Sorrows, Ames is the Publisher for the brand's imprint, Sage & Scribes. She can be bribed with coffee to edit the occasional freelance service through Syntax & Subtext.
